Heather Whitley CPM

Heather holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Vermont and a degree in Midwifery from the MEAC-accredited Midwives College of Utah.  She holds the CPM designation, a Utah license to practice and holds between 5,000-10,000 documented clinical hours.  She began as a staff midwife for a birth center in Keene, NH while operating a licensed rural Vermont practice.  Once in Utah, Heather worked for the busiest non-licensed midwife in the state and then covered a more medically-minded birth center in Layton where we did 60-80 courses of care (births) annually.  Heather is former Clinical Director, staff midwife and preceptor, overseeing  the student program at a birth center in South Ogden in addition to offering home birth to her clients out of her Salt Lake private practice. In December 2023, she opened a busy Salt Lake birth center.
